Dark Venice
I’m excited to announce that the short story I was working on last month has been accepted for the anthology, Dark Venice and I’ve signed another contract to that effect. It was an interesting brief and a challenge to come up with something within the timescale. I didn’t want to write a story that could simply be dropped into Venice, with a plot that could easily have taken place elsewhere. I set out to write something that could only take place in Venice, and to use a particular location in the city for this dark fantasy that really exists and the reader could choose to visit. The story is called The Inference Engine.
I’m looking forward to publication and to reading the other stories from such great authors. Next project for me is to see if I can write something for the next in the series, Dark Ireland.
